There's a conspiracy that Puerto Rican truck drivers are striking and delaying the delivery of crucial supplies — and Donald Trump may have bought into it.

Right-wing blogs The Conservative Treehouse and The Gateway Pundit recently published stories alleging that local unions were striking following the devastation of Hurricane Maria, preventing the delivery of food, water, and other crucial supplies.

The crux of the issue seems to be a quote from a Huffington Post interview with US Air Force Colonel Michael Valle, reports Snopes.

Jared Kushner Real Estate Company Sued for Predatory Overcharging Practice

Jared Kushner co. sued for predatory practicesOne of Jared Kushner’s real estate companies has been sued.

A class action lawsuit filed in Maryland State Court this morning alleges that Westminster Management, a company owned by President Donald Trump’s son-in-law and top adviser, charged its tenants improper fees, and then used their failure to pay those fees as a basis to threaten them with eviction.

“Westminster is preying on poor and working class people, by extorting what may sound like small fees but is real money when you’re living paycheck to paycheck,” said Andrew Freeman, an attorney at the firm Brown, Goldstein & Levy, which is representing two plaintiffs who allege that Kushner’s company charged them unlawful fees.

Trump goes after Sessions againPresident Trump once again went after Attorney General Jeff Sessions at a private dinner at the White House.

The Wall Street Journal reports that Trump expressed repeated frustration at Sessions over his March announcement that he would recuse himself from the Russia probe. “You could feel it dripping with venom,” one dinner guest reportedly told the Journal, of Trump’s criticism. “It was something else.”

Mueller going after Air Force One Records

Special counsel Robert Mueller has sought phone records concerning the statement written aboard Air Force One defending a meeting between Trump campaign officials and Russians at Trump Tower last year that was set up by Donald Trump Jr., according to two people familiar with the investigation.

Mueller has also asked the White House for documents and emails connected to a May 3 press briefing where Sean Spicer said the president had confidence in James Comey as FBI director, these people said. The request seeks to determine what White House officials – particularly Spicer – knew about the president’s plans to fire Comey in the days before it happened, according to one of the people familiar with it.

Craig, FEMA nominee, withdraws namePresident Donald Trump's nominee for the No. 2 spot at the Federal Emergency Management Agency withdrew from consideration on Wednesday after NBC News raised questions about a federal investigation that found he had falsified government travel and timekeeping records when he served in the Bush administration in 2005.

"Given the distraction this will cause the Agency in a time when they cannot afford to lose focus, I have withdrawn from my nomination," the former nominee, Daniel A. Craig, said in an email to NBC News.

Trump lawyers wanted Kushner to step downMembers of President Donald Trump’s legal team suggested that White House senior adviser Jared Kushner should resign, concerned that his multiple meetings with Russian officials and web of financial dealings would endanger the White House, The Wall Street Journal reported late Monday.

In June, some aides working with Trump’s outside legal team made the recommendation to the president and prepared a statement for Kushner’s resignation, according to the Journal’s reporting.

Kushner, Trump’s son-in-law, has drawn increasing scrutiny in multiple investigations into whether Trump’s campaign colluded with Russia in last year’s election, particularly given his high-level role in the White House.
