The Christian Science Monitor prints its final edition on Friday, bringing a 100-year run as a daily newspaper to an end but beginning a new era as an online publication.
The Boston-based Monitor announced plans in October to eliminate its daily print edition and become the first national US newspaper to adopt a Web-based strategy.

U.S. bill seeks to rescue faltering newspapers
With many U.S. newspapers struggling to survive, a Democratic senator on Tuesday introduced a bill to help them by allowing newspaper companies to restructure as nonprofits with a variety of tax breaks.
"This may not be the optimal choice for some major newspapers or corporate media chains but it should be an option for many newspapers that are struggling to stay afloat," said Senator Benjamin Cardin.
Police raid home of Wikileaks.de domain owner over censorship lists
Shortly after 9pm on Tuesday the 24th of March 2009, seven police officers in Dresden and four in Jena searched the homes of Theodor Reppe, who holds the domain registration for "wikileaks.de", the German name for wikileaks.org.
The raid appears to be related to a recent German social hysteria around child pornography and the controversial battle for a national censorship system by the German family minister Ursula von der Leyen. It comes just a few weeks after a member of parliament, SPD minister Joerg Tauss had his office and private house searched by police. German bloggers discussing the subject were similarly raided.

Hiding The Truth In Plain Sight
The isolated people within the mainstream media who tell a lot of truth about geo-politics make me nervous. They may well be working with and serving the interests of the NWO by telling truth so as to gauge public response to it. This truth telling can also serve to vicariously vent and thereby diffuse any emotions from among the portion of the public that still thinks and could potentially initiate real revolt against increasingly oppressive government.

Jim Cramer and Jon Stewart went toe-to-toe last night. It was just like Ali-Foreman, only with more head trauma. But you didn't see everything. Much of the interview had to be cut for time. But this is the internet, where all we have is time. So, here now, is the exclusive, uncensored, complete three-part interview.
TVNL Comment: The key point made is that the conduct of CNBC is criminal. As we say every day...the so called news industry is the greatest enemy of the American people. They do not fail, they do not cower, they are not afraid to ask tough questions...they are complicit in the crimes against the citizens. It is their job to crrate and maintain a false reality so that the people of our nation do not see the actions of the people who rule our nation via back room control and manipulation. That is the big message of this piece.
