An explosion has been reported Thursday afternoon at a business in Louisville, Kentucky, officials confirmed.
Louisville Division of Fire spokesperson Donovan Sims confirmed the blast to the Louisville Courier Journal, part of the USA TODAY Network.
Officials urged people to stay away from the area in the city's Clifton neighborhood as the investigation is underway. A shelter-in-place order went into effect within a 1-mile radius of the explosion, according to Louisville Metro Emergency Services.
